Did you know that Vonage is currently the only VoIP company that has full access to 2-1-1 (in most if not all states), an information service for referrals to health, human, governmental, and other community services? Simply pick up the phone and dial 2-1-1. Go try it out! Of course, anyone can also dial (877) 211-8667 if 2-1-1 doesn't work from their phone.
In the Forums
We're closing in on 50,000 members with 48,333 total members. That's a growth of 1,333 since March 5, 2008 or roughly 15 new members per day. Looking forward to hitting this major milestone in approximately 4 months.
A poster in the forums asks "Why is the business plan cost so much more?". That's a darn good question. The answer is elementary my dear Watson. As a reply to the poster indicates, the business plan allows you heavier phone usage and it gives you a 2nd fax line. Technically, the residential plan also allows you unlimited usage, but if you're using it for a business with extremely heavy usage, Vonage could detect you are violating their terms of service. Really the main benefit of the business plan is the dedicated fax line, which costs $25/month more. That's almost the exact same cost (1 penny more) as adding an additional line to the residential plan, which is $24.99.
