I have hooked up my Linksys router (RTP300) behind the wireless ASUS router (WL-520GC). Although the Linksys shows that it is receiving info from the internet, I can not get a dial tone on the phone. The phone says :"This vonage device cannot contact the vonage network"

I used the same Linksys router with a different router and a different ISP with no problem.

Any suggestions?

Your round trip times and turn around time are a bit high, but that doesn't explain no dial tone. Is DHCP enabled on both the system router and RTP300? If so, make sure that the subnet addressing for the two is different. For example, if the system router is using 192.168.15.xxx, set the RTP300 to use 192.168.16.xxx .

The message "Your Vonage device cannot contact the Vonage network" usually means that it cannot resolve DNS. Make sure that your router or ISP isn't blocking DNS lookups on port 53.
